Expect a distinct floral character from these stought, crinkled and jade colored tea leaves. Because this Golden Oolong has been lightly fermented, it offers a highly aromatic, yet delicate orchid flavor & clean finish. This healthy variety has a lighter taste than its more fermented Oolong cousins.

Bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil once, careful not to over boil, and allow one minute to cool down.
Ateava recommends using purple clay or porcelain tea ware (gong fu style), and drinking via thimble-sized cups. Gently add leaves into a teapot and quickly flush (cover the leaves with hot water and pour it off) to appreciate the aroma of the leaves. Infuse with the near-boiling water for 1-3 minutes and serve.
Increase both steeping time and/or water temperature for each successive infusion up to 7 times.
