Sow Mee (Shou Mei) is a darker, sun dried, and hand rolled white tea reminiscent of lighter Oolong teas. Today we are mixing a medium grade SowMee variety with the popular Chinese tisane, Chrysanthemum (Sow Mee tea's highest grades can actually have less depth). Our variety comes from the China's Guangxi Province.

While chrysanthemum is used to treat sore throats, promote the reduction of fever, help with circulatory disorders such as varicose veins and atherosclerosis, and influenza, that's not why we are drinking it...
